It was recently reported that actress Jin Se Yeon, star of the upcoming period drama "Generation of Youth", barely escaped a fire while practicing for the said drama.
Reports say Jin Se Yeon was at a building in Cheongdamdong for a vocal training around 2:30 in the after when the accident occurred. Jin Se Yeon was with her vocal coach and other staff members. Everyone escaped from the premises safely but was rushed to the emergency for smoke inhalation.
Jin Se Yeon received no major injuries and was shortly released from the hospital after completing a series of examinations.
A witness on set told Ajunews that the fire began after they heard a loud bang and smoke started to fill the area. The source said, "The building was old, so there was no emergency exit. However, there was a two-level terrace by the window which allowed us to escape."
The fire department is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
Jin Se Yeon is set to start in "Generation of Youth" together with Kim Hyun Joong.
