Ballad group, 2AM, gained 110,000,000 won (approximately $102,000), from their lawsuit against cosmetics brand, i.myss.

BigHit Entertainment and 2AM signed a contract in 2011 to produce and endorse i.myss cosmetics. The cosmetics brand paid them in 2011 but they did not pay them in year 2012 even though, they were still using them as endorsers. I.myss requested BigHit Entertainment that they would be deferring payments.  The label understood the brand's situation and lowered the model fees and agreed on making delays on the payment.

However, i.myss did not follow their agreement of paying 20,000,000 KRW in December 2012 for placement fees, and an additional 80,000,000 KRW for modelling fees by March 2013, and i.myss has been selling products in the internet via 2AM's image.

The label finally decided to sue the cosmetics brand in May 2013 asking for 100,000,000 KRW for 2AM's modelling fees plus a 10,000,000 Value Added Tax.

This weekend, the Seoul District court favoured BigHit Entertainment's lawsuit, making i.myss cosmetics brand, pay them, 110,000,000 KRW.

BigHit Entertainment is a one of JYP Entertainment's sub-label, founded by JYPE's composer, Bang Si Hyuk, as known as the "Hitman" Bang.
