After his comeback with his sixth album titled “Rain Effect” on January 2, Rain is set to make his comeback performance through his Mnet reality program having the same title.

The next episodes of “Rain Effect” will feature Rain’s practices and other preparations for this comeback stage. Because this is his first comeback after a long time, Rain prepared being his own producer for the album. Instead of getting other songwriters, he and his partner JR GROOV wrote and composed the whole album.

Rain's comeback was filmed on January 8 and it will show Rain practicing hard for his performance. So that he can make a good performance, Rain worked on a lot of things like the choreography and the stage props.

Rain is giving his fans a gratitude as he will be inviting 600 lucky fans to this special comeback show. And because of that he will not only be performing his double title tracks “30 SEXY” and “LA SONG,” but will also perform some of his other tracks from the album.

Representatives of Cube Entertainment stated, “Since it is a long-awaited comeback, Rain put a lot of significance in meeting and spending time with his fans as well as performing his new songs for the first time.”

In an interview last month, Rain said, “In the beginning, I was made into a star rather than an artist. But now, I want to make music that sounds good even when you hear it all day. Because I’m not an idol anymore.”

Meanwhile, Rain’s comeback show will be showed on Mnet’s “Rain Effect” on January 9.
