Despite a bumpy 2013, Ailee is back stronger than ever with her new album and title track "Singing Got Better".
The singer recently had an interview with Donga where she discussed about her new material. "I am glad to be able to start the year with this ballad track which I can share with my fans," Ailee shared.
"'Singing Got Better' is a timeless ballad that I've recorded three years back. It's a very special song and I already finished working on it even before 'Heaven' [came out]," Ailee said. The song was penned by Ailee's mentor, Wheesung. It was mixed and recorded 16 times before its final release in January 6.
When asked why it took a while for the song to be released, Ailee explained, "Every time I decide to release it, I end up choosing a different title track thus pushing back its release. And quite frankly, I think it would've been difficult for a rookie artist to debut with a song called 'Singing Go Better'."
As for her plans this 2014, Ailee expressed, "Oftentimes when I made a comeback I would injure myself. This year I want to be able to promote without getting hurt."
In recall, the singer injured her ankle while promoting "A's Doll House".
