The "Infinity Challenge" cast is headed to Brazil to attend the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
On January 17, a representative of MBC stated, "'Infinity Challenge' team will travel to Brazil, where the 2014 World Cup is held, to cheer on the national football team of Korea."
The most prestigious event in football will be held from June to July. The Korean team will have the first ever match on June 18, when they are scheduled to face the Russian team. On June 23, they will go head-to-head with Algeria, and their last match will be against Belgium on June 27.
Because of the conflict in schedule, the famous variety show could not attend the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. While the next big sporting event is 2014 Incheon Asian Games held in September, however, nothing has been discussed or confirmed.
It was just this fall when the group was divided to half to be cheering teams of Korea's leading rival universities, Yonsei University and Korea University. This project gained a lot of attention from the public, and since then the show followed a plan titled "Infinity Challenge Cheering Team."
