In line with their Japanese album release just this last September 18, Girls Generation has swept the Oricon Charts in Japan, making their single in the number one spot. The girls have placed in the number four spot for the Single Chart of the Day on the same day.
The girls were spotted recently in the launch of the famous handbag brand, Samantha Thavasa, which has released their first line of jeans and made Girls Generation the models for their new line. The girls have been seen to wear the brand's skinny jeans which have nine different colours in their video for their single, "Galaxy Supernova."
The girls have made the fans experience their performance of "Galaxy Supernova," plus they also performed "Gee" after, in the said opening of the line.
The group is scheduled to be in Japan for their promotional activities by this month and will be touring around Asia next month.
"Galaxy Supernova," is said to be their eighth single released in Japan. The song is said to equally the same in beat with their previous Japanese singles, "Mr. Taxi," and "Paparazzi."
