2PM's New Japanese Album, "Genesis of 2PM" Went Straight Up to Number 1 in the Oricon Charts!

2PM never fails to be popular even in Japan as the group's third album gets the 1st spot in the charts!

2PM has just released their third full-length album in Japan and has got the #1 spot on the Oricon Chart.

On January 29, 2PM released “Genesis of 2PM” which rose up to #1 on the very same day on the Oricon Daily Chart.

“Genesis of 2PM” is 2PM’s third full-length album which was out in Japan after their albums “Republic of 2PM“ and second “Legend of 2PM“. “Genesis of 2PM” is a good mixture of 2PM’s fierce physical image along with their soft inner emotions.

The songs in this album are, “Give Me Love,” “Winter Games,” “Step by Step,” “Merry-Go-Round” and many more making it 13 tracks in total. The six songs in this album got to rank #1 on the ringtone download charts as well.

2PM stated, “When we heard that our album was at #1 on the Oricon Chart, we couldn’t hide our joy. We really thank everyone for their love and we’ll work even harder and try our best. Thank you for always loving us and supporting us.”

2PM is currently on their arena tour which started last January 27.
