Former T-ara member and now budding actress Hwayoung was recently rushed to the hospital after running into a minor vehicular accident.
Wellmade StarM spoke with DongA.com with regard to Hwayoung condition and said, "Hwayoung was riding a car with a friend on February 2. While Hwayoung's car stopped, the following car rear-ended her. Thankfully, the accident was not serious. Hwayoung only acquired bruises."
The label representative continued, "After a check-up Hwayoung went straight back home. However, she was admitted to the hospital today due to the doctor's orders. She's going to be resting until she gets well. We have no intention of worrying fans and we apologize."
Furthermore, Hwayoung's hospitalization will not affect her schedule since she has not signed up with any major activity as she is focusing on acting classes.
