New "Inkigayo" host Lee Yu Bi spent her first day on the job facing a slew of criticisms after her alleged lip-synced performance of the hit Disney OST "Let It Go".

During Lee Yu Bi's rendition of "Let It Go" many viewers noticed parts wherein her mouth movements did not coincide with the lyrics to the song, leading viewers to think that she may just have been lip-syncing the whole time.

However, Lee Yu Bi's agency, Sidus HQ, came to her defence and said, "Since [Lee Yu Bi] does not sing professionally, we prepared something in case she makes mistakes." The rep continued, "The stage used an AR sound system. We believe the viewers confused Yu Bi's voice with the AR which made it seem as though she was lip-syncing."

The AR sound system in question is commonly used in music shows in case a singer encounters vocal problems in the middle of a performance. The AR ensures that the singing keeps on despite whatever technical glitch or vocal problems as singer may be experiencing onstage.

Other than Lee Yu Bi's controversial performance, artists such as TVXQ, Rainbow BLAXX, B1A4, KOYOTE, Girl's Day, Dal Shabet, House Rules, SPICA, Kim So Jun,g DICKPUNKS, GOT7, Honey Finger Six, AOA, Royal Pirates, TOP DOGG, AIRPLANE, and Yang Ji Won also graced the "Inkigayo" stage on the same broadcast.
