Girl's Generation Tops Forbes Korea's "Power Celebrity Top 40" List

Girls' Generation has achieved the top spot on Forbes Korea's Power Celebrity Top 40 list for 2014.

Girls' Generation has achieved the top spot on Forbes Korea's Power Celebrity Top 40 list for 2014.

Girls' Generation continues to be praised by various media outlets for their music and influence. Just recently, the mega popular girl group was included in Forbes Korea's Power Celebrity Top 40 List for 2014. The girls placed at first place, outranking many other top celebrities in Korea.

This is not Girls' Generation's first appearance on the list. The group placed at number 1 in 2011 and 2012. They are the sole act to be listed in the top 10 of all four categories. Girls' Generation were the only celebrities who were included in 2009, when the list was first launched.

Forbes Korea selects its "Power Celebrity Top 40 List' from 100 Korean celebrities who proved to be most prominent in the previous year. They were then ranked based on income, influence, reputation, and professionalism.

In the meantime, Girls' Generation will be staging their much awaited comeback performance on "M! Countdown" this March 6.
