World star Rain will make his Chinese film debut in the upcoming film "Hong Yan Lu Shui".
A representative from Cube DC said Rain will appear as the male lead character, Shui Chung Shuin and will star opposite Chinese actress Lui Yifei.
Rain's character, Shui Chung Shuin, is the passionate and artistic heir of the largest conglomerate in Southeast Asia who will experience true love. The film will be directed by renowned director Xixi Gao.
A member of the film production crew said, "Rain definitely has that star quality to play the main character that will lead the film's storyline. We thought that he suits the smart and artistic character of his role as Shui Chung Shuin, that's why we cast him."
Rain will begin filming for the movie later this month.
