Actors Ha Ji Won and Gong Yoo Receives Presidential Citation for Paying Taxes Religiously

The two top actors receives an exemplary award because they have been good taxpayers! Actress Ha Ji Won and actor Gong Yoo have been chosen recently to have presidential citations for paying their taxes religiously.

Actress Ha Ji Won and actor Gong Yoo have been chosen recently to have presidential citations for paying their taxes religiously. It has also been reported that National Tax Service will be appointing the duo as its honorary ambassadors.

On March 3, the Ministry of Strategy and Finance held the 48th Taxpayer’s Day ceremony at COEX. With the two stars, Gong Yoo and Ha Ji Won, 316 model taxpayers, 66 tax administration supporters, 190 civil servants who have shown merit and 8 outstanding institutions were awarded prizes.

The Ministry stated, Ha Ji Won has donated royalties and books to disadvantaged neighbors, while diligently paying her taxes. She has received a presidential citation as recognition for her efforts to contribute to national finances.

Gong Yoo has been chosen to receive a presidential citation for being a role model in everything he has been doing as one of the Korea's top actors, on top of paying his taxes religiously.
