Is Kim Yuna in a Relationship?

Photos have circulated and shows that figure skater Kim Yuna is dating a ice hockey player. The figure skating expert, Kim Yuna, who is 24 years old is rumoured to be dating ice hockey player Kim Won Joong, who is 30 years old.

The figure skating expert, Kim Yuna, who is 24 years old is rumoured to be dating ice hockey player Kim Won Joong, who is 30 years old.

On March 6, news outlet, Dispatch came out with Kim Yuna and Kim Won Joong to have fallen in love. Photos were captured of the two who seems to be quite cozy with each other.

Kim Won Joong has graduated from Korea University, joined the Anyang Halla ice hockey team and is currently serving the military as a part of the military ice hockey team.

As Dispatch reported, the two met in July of 2012. After the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, Kim Yuna was stressed with various personal issues and injuries. Though, she was determined to go for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics and re-entered Taeneung Training Center, which is the national training centre of Korean national athletics. That was the time she met Kim Won Joong.

People around Kim Won Joong has been said to comment, "Kim Won Joong was a safe comfort for her. He made the frowning Kim Yuna, smile."

Together with the fact that they have the same alma mater and are competing in sports on ice, they both have many things in common. This was how they had apparently understood each other.
