Lee Min Ho's Number of Weibo Followers Breaks Records At 20 Million

Lee Min Ho recently set another record by becoming the first Korean actor to gain 20 million (and counting) followers on Weibo.

Top actor Lee Min Ho recently hit 20 million followers on Weibo!

Lee Min Ho's agency revealed the news on March 9, saying, "Lee Min Ho's Weibo followers surpassed 20 million as of March 8. This is the highest number of followers achieved by a Korean actor on Weibo."

"The Heirs" star reached 10 million followers in November last year, showing just about a hundred-day difference between his current record.

Chinese media reported, "Chinese people's reaction towards Lee Min Ho is almost unfathomable, as this is the first time its happened in China."

Insiders from the Korean entertainment industry also commented, "This surpasses all expectations of [Lee Min Ho]. It seems that all his years of hard work are now being rewarded."

As to his number of Weibo followers is growing by the minute, Lee Min Ho's agency has a theory. "We think this is due to Lee Min Ho's continuous [efforts] to communicate with fans."

In the meantime, Lee Min Ho is filming his upcoming movie "Gangnam Blues".
