JYP's rookie boy group GOT7 has signed an official contract with Sony Music Entertainment Japan to mark the beginning of their promotional activities in Japan.
GOT7 will hold their debut showcase in Japan, titled "GOT7 Showcase 1st Impact in Japan", on April 4. The showcase will be held in Ryogoku Kokugikan (sumo stadium), the same building that hosted 2PM's debut showcase in 2010.
A representative from JYP Entertainment said, "JYP's new boy group GOT7 will be having its first showcase in Japan, just three months after their debut. The showcase will be held at the grand-sized stadium, which can hold up to 9,000 audience members. Please continue to show your support as GOT7 make their expansion activities overseas."
In addition, GOT7 second Japan showcase will be held at Osaka's "Zepp Namba" on April 17.
GOT7 released their debut album, "Got It?", on January 20. And since then, over 10,000 fans have registered on "GOT7 Japan Official Mobile Site" despite not having made their official debut in the country yet.
