"Empress Ki" Nears 30% Viewer Ratings This Week

"Empress Ki" gets to keep the throne as it maintains its top position on drama series rankings. The period drama is about to make history by nearing the 30% viewer rating mark this week.

While "Empress Ki" continues to pile up on ratings, its competitors continue to struggle with single-digit results.

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the March 11 episode of MBC's "Empress Ki" earned a viewer rating of 29.2%, showing a 2.3% increase from its rating of 26.9% last week.

The SBS thriller drama "God's Gift-14 Days" placed second with a 9.1% viewer rating, showing a measly increase of 0.2% from its previous rating of 8.9%.

Finally, KBS 2TV's "Full Sun" is as down as ever with a 3.0% viewer rating.  Such low rating has never been seen since KBS 2TV aired "Pretty Man".
