A year and three months have passed since Super Junior M made a performance on stage. Together with their comeback, the group had a photo shoot for THE STAR magazine.
Super Junior has been selected as the cover model as THE STAR is celebrating their one-year anniversary on April 2014. The concept for the photo shoot has been entitled, “Energetic Gentlemen.”
In the photo, Henry, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Zhoumi, and Sungmin are seen styling the dandy suit look with humorous expression on their faces. They also use toy props as they model different patterns of dress shirts. Other member Siwon, Donghae, and Eunhyuk were not present at the photo shoot due to their schedules overseas.
In the interview, which happened after the photo shoot, each member opened up on what they have been up to lately. Kyuhyun, who has been doing good hosting MBC’s “Radio Star,” stated, “I’m actually very playful in real life, but I’m not one to make spiteful remarks about anyone. Still, I think the show has helped me get my name out there, so I want to continue hosting the show.”
Henry, who participated in season 2 of MBC’s “Real Men,” arrived at the shoot dressed in his military uniform. He spilled the beans about the difficulty of military life. “Sometimes, when I don’t understand the military lingo everyone gets punished because of me, and I feel bad.”
The members also showed their excitement for their comeback after a long break. The day of the photo shoot was a day before Super Junior M’s new mini album was released in China. Ryeowook introduced the album saying, “It has the Super Junior flavor, but it’s also sophisticated.
Super Junior M’s new mini album, “SWING,” is set to be in Korea on March 31 in various online music sites. The group will have their comeback stage on Mnet’s “M Countdown” on March 27 to KBS’ “Music Bank” on March 28, and SBS’ “Inkigayo” on March 30.
