Korean actor Lee Byung Hun, who gained huge international success in the Hollywood franchise "G.I. Joe", will now star alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in much-awaited Hollywood sequel "Terminator: Genesis"

"Terminator: Genesis" will be the fifth among the "Terminator" movies, but will be the first part of a completely new trilogy.

According to American news outlets, Lee Byung is still in the talks for his role, but it will surely be a significant one.

BH Entertainment also confirmed the news in an interview with Sports Seoul. "Lee Byung Hyun will star in 'Terminator 5'. We are currently in talks about his exact role, but rest assured it will be a significant one. Filming for ['Terminator 5'] will begin at the end of April or early in May."

"Terminator: Genesis" will premiere in July next year, and will kick off the three-part reboot of the hit movie franchise. Other than the "Terminator" Arnold Schwarzenegger himself, hot young actors such as Emilia Clarke and Jai Courtney have also been confirmed for the movie. "Terminator: Genesis" will be directed by Alan Taylor, who also directed "Thor: The Dark World".

Lee Byung Hun established a name for himself in Hollywood when he starred as Storm Shadow in the "G.I. Joe" series. His next big Hollywood film was "Red: The Legend", sequel to action movie "Red" which boasted a star-studded cast including Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren, and more.
