Kim Soo Hyun and Gucci Donates 203 Million KRW To Help Children in China

Kim Soo Hyun and Gucci donated 203 million won to CCTF to help unfortunate kids in China. Kim Soo Hyun was in Beijing on April 8 where he attended a charity fashion show by Gucci, presenting the brand's "2014 Spring Summer Collection".

Kim Soo Hyun was in Beijing on April 8 where he attended a charity fashion show by Gucci, presenting the brand's "2014 Spring Summer Collection". The event was held in Gucci's flagship store. At the event, Kim Soo Hyun also made a donation amounting to 203 million KRW to support China Children & Teenager's Fund (CCTF).

The CCTF is the first ever charity foundation in China that makes uses of funds raised to help improve the lives of 12 million children in China. The funds were donated by Kim Soo Hyun and Gucci, and will be used to build a therapy centre for Chinese teenagers.

Kim Soo Hyun shared, "I'm truly thankful for all the love and support that everyone has showered me lately. I want to repay that love by doing something in return. Today, I was happy to have been able to contribute to this meaningful charity program together with Gucci and CCTF to help unfortunate children have a better future to live."

CCTF Secretary General Chen Xiao Xia expressed his gratitude to Kim Soo Hyun and Gucci, saying, "We are thankful to Gucci China for all the years of support to our organization. We would also like to thank Kim Soo Hyun for agreeing to partner with is on our first fund raising event in China."

In the meantime, Kim Soo Hyun is currently on his fan meeting tour in Asia which started just last month.
