Male idol group MBLAQ has entered the Top 10 on Billboard's World Album Chart with their 7th mini album, "Broken".
The handsome and manly lads of MBLAQ debuted on the World Album chart at number 9. This is considered a huge feat for MBLAQ since they took hold of the spot just 7 days after the release of "Broken".
Billboard's World Album chart is an extensive list that includes non-English artists from all over the world. With this, MBLAQ has received another proof for their growing global popularity.
"Broken" features a new style and vibe from MBLAQ. The members shed off their beastly, angst-filled image for a more mature yet manly concept. The title track, "Be A Man", show's a whole new side to the group as they sing a soft R&B track.
MBLAQ has now joined the ranks of SHINee, Super Junior-M, and other K-pop boy groups that have entered the Billboard World Album Chart. Even rookie group GOT7 has made their way to the top of the chart.
The World Album Chart is an extensive listing that takes into account various non-English releases, so getting into the chart, much less the top 10, is a huge deal for any artist.
In the meantime, MBLAQ is actively promoting "Be A Man" and their album "Broken" through performances in various music programs.
