Eric Nam Shares His Thoughts on Collaboration With Hoya and Desire To Work With Henry Lau

Eric Nam recently talked about working with Hoya and expressed his desire to join forces with Super Junior-M’s Henry for his next collaboration.

Eric Nam recently made his music comeback with the track “Ooh Ooh”, which features INFINITE’s Hoya. In a recent interview with TenAsia, Eric Nam shared his thoughts on working with Hoya and expressed his desire to join forces with Super Junior-M’s Henry for his next collaboration.

When asked about Hoya’s participation in “Ooh Ooh”, Eric Nam said, “Sweetune, who is close with INFINITE, arranged [this collaboration with Hoya]. I only met Hoya every so often, so I wasn’t that close with him. I asked Sweetune if he could request INFINITE to be a featured artist [on the track], and I was thankful that Hoya was readily willing to do it. Although I wasn’t able to work with him often, I think Hoya knows well how to have fun on stage. We filmed the music video together, and I thought he’s cool. I am jealous that he dances really well.”

When asked if Eric Nam will be performing with Hoya on stage, he said it is unlikely unless their comebacks overlap. “INFINITE is busy preparing for their comeback, so I don’t think [Hoya and I] will be able to perform on stage together. If [our] promotional activities overlap, there is a possibility. For now, I think a trainee from my agency will fill in [for Hoya] when performing on stage with me. Super Junior-M’s Henry also called me up, asking why I didn’t ask him for a featuring. He’s a really close friend, and I hope I get to collaborate with him next time.”
