Heechul Gets Personal in Latest Issue of Cosmpolitan Korea

In an interview, the Super Junior members talks about his time in the military and his return to the spotlight.

Super Junior's resident diva Kim Heechul graces the pages of the latest issue of Cosmopolitan Korea.

In an interview with the magazine, Heechul talks about his life in the military and his return to the entertainment industry.

Since he was relieved of his 2-year civil duties in August, Heechul has been busy making his rounds in TV shows and photo shoots. With all his activities, it feels as though Heechul never left in the first place.

When asked to comment about his military service, Heechul revealed that he had to be rid of the star treatment and had to take the subway everyday to make his way to the military facilities. While serving, he wanted to keep a low profile as much as he could. He successfully managed to dodge the intrusive press and made it through two years without so much of a fuss.

Although he was okay with the idea of serving his country, the fact that he couldn't do what he really wanted to do-sing, dance, perform-for two straight years became a hard pill to swallow.

He admitted to having missed his fans while on duty. Those overboard fans that used to pull his shirt and hair at the airport, those fans that somehow annoyed him in a way, became the people he missed the most.

Heechul's managers were witness to his growth while serving in the military. He also said that there might be some things that have changed about him, but assures fans that he's still his old spunky self.

In the interview, Heechul also shared his thoughts on dating. 

Being known as one of the stars who's bluntly aware of their beauty, Heechul expressed that he wants to date a woman who's prettier than him. "I want to always remember this thirsty feeling for a really, really long time".

Aside from his feature in Cosmopolitan magazine, you can catch Heechul as he showcases his witty antics in the variety show "Ssul Jeon".

Also, Super Junior is set to release a new Japanese single titled "Blue World". This will be Heechul's first project with Super Junior since completing his military service.
