The charming member of 2PM, Nichkhun, is ready showcase his acting skills in an upcoming Chinese- Korean drama series.
The idol-actor is set to return to the small screen as he has been selected to take on a role in drama series co-produced by Chinese and Korea companies, titled "Bucket List". In a report by a Chinese news outlet, the drama series will run for 30 episodes and will be mainly produced by a Chinese production company together with Korean producers.
However, a representative from Nichkhun agency tells a slightly different story. Contrary to the confirmed reports, the rep said, "It is true that he had received a casting offer. However, he is still in the process of reviewing it now. There is a good chance that the outcome will be favorable."
Other than the working title, no further news about the drama has been revealed. If he accepts the role, "Bucket List" will be Nichkhun's second Chinese drama series after "One And A Half Summer". "One And a Half Summer" recently released its first official trailer since it began production last year. Nichkhun plays the male lead role opposite miss A's Jia who will be his leading lady.
Looks like fans will be seeing more of Nichkhun in Chinese-produced drama series this year!
In the meantime, Nichkhun will also be joining the rest of 2PM as they prepare for their much-anticipated comeback in the later part of this year. The singer is also enjoying a very prolific career, which includes an active appearance in magazine photo shoots and CFs. Furthermore, Nichkhun is also happy with his confirmed relationship with Girls' Generation's Tiffany. The two announced their romantic relationship last year, which caused their fandoms to rejoice and show full support.
