Lee Byung Hun's Role in "Terminator: Genesis" Revealed?

A new document reveals that Lee Byung Hun's role in the upcoming "Terminator: Genesis" will be a big one.

Although Lee Byung Hun’s camp and the production staff of “Terminator: Genesis” have been quiet for quite some time regarding Lee Byung Hun’s actual role in the movie, it seems that hint has been revealed lately.

On May 28, various Korean news portals reported that the cue sheet “Terminator: Genesis” somehow made its way to the public eye through an online community. The cue sheet was titled “VISTA 2ND UNIT” and listed down shooting calls, locations, and cast players needed for the scenes. What gained the most interest was Lee Byung Hun’s character description, which was labelled “Cop, T-1000”.

In recall, the character T-1000 is the famous antagonist in the earlier “Terminator” movies that was played by Robert Patrick during the 1991 film “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”. T-1000 is a cyborg created from “liquid metal”, with the capability to change its form and is nearly insusceptible to any form of damage because of its resilient liquid properties.

If Lee Byung Hun will indeed take on the role of the nearly indestructible T-1000, he will most likely have a larger role to play in the entire film, supporting BH Entertainment previous statement that he will be playing “significant” character. With this new development, fans are all the more looking forward to this big release.

Lee Byung Hun will wrap up filming for “Terminator: Genesis” in about a month. After that, he will be returning to Korea.

In the meantime, "Terminator: Genesis" is a reboot of the regular series, and will star Jai Courtney (Divergent), Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), and more. The movie will be directed by Alan Taylor, director of “Thor: The Dark World”, and will possibly feature an appearance by none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger himself.

The plot will be revolved around the story of Kyle Reese, Sarah and John Connor’s father. The reboot will be remade into a trilogy.
