The sibling duo of Akdong Musician is set to end promotions this week but fans of of the duo should not feel sad since the duo will make their come back with a new album by around the third quarter of the year.

Akdong Musician's last performance will be this Sunday, June 1, at SBS’ “Inkigayo.” Following that, theY will be staring to work on their follow up album.

It is a wonder as YG Entertainment's artists don't release two albums in one year however, it is said that the duo has been working very hard to make it possible. In a recent interview as they have released their debut album, “PLAY”, Lee Chan Hyuk stated that he has more than 80 new songs that are yet to be released.

 Akdong Musician made their debut under YG Entertainment a year after winning the SBS audition program show, “K-Pop Star 2.” Their debut album “PLAY” gained attention as it has taken the top spot in major music charts. Also, their title track, “200%,” and also other tracks in their album, ranked high in various music charts in Korea.

Besides from topping the music charts, Akdong Musician has also received the “triple crown” in Mnet’s “M! Countdown” and SBS’ “Inkigayo” getting the number one spot in the weekly ranking three weeks in a row.
