Fans who participated in the activity said, "In honor of YoonA's birthday, we wanted to prepare a meaningful gift for YoonA. We hope that the 'YoonA Forest' will be enjoyed by YoonA and Girls' Generation's fans as well as a lot of people who can comfortably rest there. The broadcast station is located across from the forest, so it would be nice for international fans to go there."
Planting forests in honor of a celebrity is the current trend in K-pop these days wherein plants gifted their idols with forest in their name for their birthday. This earth-friendly initiative was started by Tree Planet, and has already put up many forest for celebrities including 2NE1, Shinhwa, Roy Kim, Girls' Generation, TVXQ, Infinite.
