It was recently announced that the rappers: Super Junior's Eunhyuk, 2PM's Taeyeon and EXO's Kris were going to host the 2013 Asia's Song Festival which will be held in Jamsil Stadium in Seoul on October 9.
The Asia song Festival caters different artists from Asia. It is hosted by Korea For International Culture Exchange or KFOICE.
A representative of the said organization stated, "The event's primary purpose is to show off various activities that correspond to the goal: 'a place of popular music that contribute to the promotion of the involved performers as well as the revitalization of cultural exchanges.'"
The representative also added, "We expect this to contribute to the plan to foremost revitalize an industrial exchange rather than simply have performances, the event abiding by each performer's country-by-country, region-by-region statistics."
The poster for the song festival has already come out. It includes performances from 2PM, Girl's Day, EXO, Block B, Crayon Pop, Dynamic Duo, No Brain and Asian artists like: Hong Kong's GEM, Indonesia's 7ICONS and Philippines' M.Y.M.P.
This festival is broadcasted SBS in Korea and Fuji TV in Japan; and other major broadcasting stations around the world including USA, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines, Finland, Bulgaria, Vietnam.
In recall, the theme song for the 2011 Asia Song Festival, ""Dreams Come True", a duet by Lee Donghae of Super Junior and Seohyun of Girls' Generation.
