Girl’s Generation told their secret rituals they do before they go on stage.
In an interview for “Girls’ Generation LOVE & PEACE Japan 3rd Tour”, the nine members who are managed by SM Entertainment, answered questions with regards to their concert in Japan. A question about their habits before going to stage was asked.
Yoona, Sooyoung, Taeyeon, and Tiffany stated that they scream the band’s motto as the ritual they have to do before they go on stage. “Every member has to gather up and scream, ‘Right now it’s Girls’ Generation!’ together,” Taeyeon opened up.
Meanwhile, the two dancing machines, Hyoyeon and Yuri, and also Sunny, said that they stretch their bodies and do a little practice as their ritual. This help them avoid injuries. “I carefully stretch my body in order to go on stage. If I went on stage without exercising my body enough, it becomes a jinx where I won’t be able to do well!” Yuri elaborated.
While, maknae Seohyun said she prays before she goes on stage. She prays for their concert to go well and every member of Girls’ Generation not to get injured. “Before it starts, I pray without fail. I always pray, "Today, let us all have fun without injury or regret,” she said.
However, Jessica and Sunny said that they needed to have enough food and drinks as their ritual. “Generally speaking, in order to load up on power, I eat a lot of rice. ^^” Jessica stated.
Girls’ Generation is holding their solo concert, “Girls Generation Japan 3rd Tour 2014″ in a number of cities in Japan.
