Another collaboration by a BIGBANG member and a foreign artist had made way.
The group's maknae, Seungri teamed up with Japanese musician May J. for May J.'s ballad album "Love Ballad."
According to YG Entertainment, Japanese female musician May J. asked Seungri to do duet collaboration work with her for new album "Love Ballad." They already met in Japan and finished recording the Japanese version of the song, "I Believe," which was originally sung by musician Shin Seung Hoon in 2003, which was featured in the popular movie, "My Sassy Girl" and became a hit song.
The duet amongst Seungri and May J. was held as they met prior Seungri's first solo debut album in Japan, "Let's Talk About Love." May J. contributed in one of the tracks called "I Know" for the said album. However, when Seungri released this song earlier in Korea, he worked with with Korea's sister, IU.
According to May J., "I chose the song 'I Believe' as cover collaboration because I wanted Korean fans to enjoy together as well. I was happy to work with Seungri because this is one of Seungri's favourite songs."
The second collaboration work of Seungri and May J. will be out on October 23 in May J.'s new album titled, "Love Ballad," which has video available now on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Seungri is scheduled to release his first solo debut album, "Let's Talk About Love" in Japan on October 9 and will be busy promoting for the said album.
