Top Korean actor Kim Bum will be join the cast of the upcoming Chinese version of the hit American TV show "Gossip Girl".
The drama will revolve around the story of love and business among the young SNS generation. Kim Bum will take on the role of a CEO of a premium restaurant. His character is described as being confident and charismatic.
Because of Kim Bum's appearance in the upcoming drama, Chinese companies involving fashion, electronics, and even shopping malls have been sending him endless love calls, offering him deals to endorse their products and appear in CFs. Although the drama hasn't begun airing yet, it has caused quite a stir and is becoming a hot issue. With this, a lot of brands are targeting to recruit him as an endorser.
The drama is set to start filming on July 21 through China's QQ.com.
Kim Bum's latest drama is the hit historical drama series "The Goddess of Fire, Jung Yi".
