EXO's Cover Group Goes More than Just Covering!

It seems that EXO's cover group, Millenium Boy/EXO-T, has been going more than just copying With EXO‘s popularity, a lot of fans have been rooting for them.

With EXO‘s popularity, a lot of fans have been rooting for them. However, it seems that them is the Thai cover group Millenium Boy, which recently changed their group name to EXO-T, has been doing more than just covering.

The cover group then was know as they covered EXO’s famous dances and performances and having similar styles as the original group. But, in last night’s broadcast of MNET’s “Dirty Talk,” they mentioned about how the Thai cover group is even going beyond their imitation of EXO.

It was recently talked about on various SNS accounts as they were imitating EXO over-excessively by going on television, holding fan signs, and at some point, even accepting gifts from their fans. The members of EXO-T also try to copy and style themselves to look just like the real EXO members do. These activities have led for people in Thailand to believe that they are the real EXO. Kim Gu Ra, one of the hosts of the show, then mentioned on the broadcast how big of a problem it is.

Even in light of the events as Kris left the group and with group member Baekhyun having a dating scandal with Girls Generation’s Taeyeon, the Thai cover group have copied those as well. The copying Baekhyun has revealed that he is also dating someone, while EXO-T’s Kris has also left the group when the scandal regarding it came up.

The panel of the show was surprised on how EXO-T’s copying went beyond what normal cover groups do and have expressed how EXO’s agency and the fans might have been in frustration.
