A controversy had risen recently about former KARA member, Jiyoung, who might be starting a solo acting career in Japan. Though her father commented, saying it has not been that certain, saying that she may want to go down that road after completing her education, reports are now arising once more, making it a possibility.

This report also claimed that she has signed a contract with a famous agency in Japan called Sweet Power and has already her plans set for next year, as well.
In coincedence, her former group, KARA, had made a hint that they will be heading over to Japan in this autumn, also, after they have released their new music in October, making it likely that both Jiyoung and KARA's promotions will overlap. There might be a possibility that fans will get to see them together soon as it also has been revealed Jiyoung and KARA remained close after her leave from the group.
