Busker Busker's Kim Hyung Tae Apologizes For the 'Eun Gyo' Statement

Another Busker Busker member is in the public's eyes and this time, it is the bassist,  Kim Hyung Tae.

On October 3, Busker Busker performed for a concert in Busan for their nationwide tour. During the concert, the drummer Brad screamed "Grandma, I love you!"

The reason is that Brad is currently in a tvN variety show called "Island Village Teacher," where he journeys to a small island in Korea to be a temporary English teacher for the young students. For the duration of his stay on the island, he lived with an old lady, which he warmly called "grandma."

But, as soon as Brad shouted, "Grandma, I love you," Kim Hyung Tae responded, "Brad, do you know 'Eun Gyo?'"

The movie, "Eun Gyo" is a film wherein an old man falls in love and has sexual fantasies about a young high school girl.

Referring to "Eun Gyo" was evaluated as incorrect and even during the concert; the audience was silent when Kim Hyung Tae made that comment. Lead vocalist, Jang Bum Joon tried to smoothen the situation by saying, "That's not right."

On October 8, Busker Busker's agency issued a statement with 'My Daily' and said, "Kim Hyung Tae's reference to "Eun Gyo" with no bad intentions. He is so sorry that he caused such a problem without meaning to do so."

They continued, "Kim Hyung Tae was just teasing so he is very agitated and disappointed that the comment became such an issue. He is sorry and he will be more careful with his word selection from now on and work hard on his activities."

It was just weeks ago when member, Brad was on the headlines for his honest interview about being on "Super Star K," which made a lot of reactions from the people.
