It has been announced that the final winner of Billboard’s “Fan Army Face-Off” is BIGBANG’s fan army, V.I.P.
On August 18, Billboard announced that the final winner of the fanbase voting championship making it as V.I.P, having a 91% total votes in the final round, who was up against the fanbase of American singer Jared Leto’s band, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Echelon.
The “Fan Army Face-Off” started on July 7, which had 32 popular fanbases, making it known who among them has the strongest fan club. The voting tournament had five different stages, and also getting a total of 20 million votes, as they slimmed down the candidates to have a decision on a final winner.
In the first round, BIGBANG's fan club battled Rihanna Navy, Rihanna's fan club, Selenators of Selena Gomez, SONE's of Girls Generation, Panheads of rapper Skillet and Echelon of Thirty Second to Mars.
V.I.Ps are surely very overwhelmed since their idols BIGBANG had just celebrated their 8th debut anniversary on August 19, very timely for their win!
