BIGBANG maknae, Seungri tops the Oricon Daily Charts on October 9, the same day it was released.
The new Japanese album of Seungri has songs from his first and second mini-albums, which was released in Korea in 2011 and 2013, separately, including title songs from his previous releases "I Have Something To Say," "VVIP," and "Strong Baby." He was in charge for producing this album, therefore making it hit number one on the Oricon charts is a great achievement for him.
Seungri's Japanese album contains his first original Japanese track, "Thoughts I Draw In The Sky," which was composed by himself. The said song was chosen as the theme song for UULA's original drama "Yubi Koi," which will begin showing this winter.
Last summer, Seungri began to complete solo activities in Japan, receiving a lot of affection from fans with his consistent presences on Japanese TV programs. Lately, he became a one of the trending people after it was said that Seungri became the first foreign celebrity to become a host for the global broadcasting company Fuji TV.
Because of being fluent in the Japanese language, Seungri has been active in Japanese variety programs such as TBS' "Sanma no Karakuri" and Fuji TV's "Sakigake! Ongaku Banzuke Eight," accepting a lot of love from the Japanese people. After his successful solo activities in Japan, Seungri will carry on on with BIGBANG's Japanese Six-Dome Tour starting in November.
