On October 8, while KARA was started their concert and was busy, Japanese Kamilias joined together in front of the Yokohama Arena on October 9 to make a petition stating: "Assure the continuation of Nicole's activities with KARA."
The fans who went to the arena are aggressively contributing in the said petition in expectations of making Nicole remain as a KARA member. The petition has plans of following KARA throughout their Japanese tour in seven different locations including Yokohama, Fukuoka, Osaka, and Nagoya. After the tour is done, the fans will collect all the signatures they managed to get and deliver them to KARA's agency, DSP Media.
One representative stated, "Fans understand the part where Nicole decided not to have another exclusive contract with DSP Media. It's just that even if Nicole were to sign an exclusive contract with another agency, we hope that DSP Media will allow her to continue activities as a member of KARA."
Furthermore, KARA's contract with Universal Music, which is their Japanese label, will finish in December so fans are taking this chance to express their opinions that they will not accept KARA if Nicole is not included, making it a high chance that a contract renewal with Universal Music or a new contract with different company will be very hard if circumstances do not go their way.
