Jay Park to Host Launch Party for His Record Label AOMG

Jay Park will host a launch part to formally introduce AOMG. On September 24, singer Jay Park revealed on Sports Seoul that he has already started his own independet record label, “AOMG”.

On September 24, singer Jay Park revealed on Sports Seoul that he has already started his own independet record label, “AOMG”. And to celebrate this new feat, he is throwing a big launch party!

“AOMG”, which stands for “Above Ordinary Music Group”, is Jay Park’s attempt to branch out as an artist by creating a collective of talented artists, composers, and producers, all striving to create a kind of music that’s new and goes beyond boundaries instead of just launching stars.

That stars that have currently joined team AOMG are Art of Movement (AOM) member Cha Cha Malone, and Jun Goon, and Gray. Cha Cha has worked with Jay on “I Like 2 Party”; Jun Goon has collaborated with Wheesung and Big Bang’s Taeyang; Gray has been featured on several songs by Zion T and Swings.

Jay Park, himself, is also one of AOMG’s talents but he won’t be leaving his current label SidusHQ.

The launch party will be held at The A club in Seoul, on October 10. Jay Park will be working with Tastemakers to kick off the event. American jewelry designer, Ben Baller, has been enlisted to host the launch party.

Sources that Jay Park has invited the help of other artists and producers during the cake-cutting ceremony, commemorating the launch of Above Ordinary Music Group.
