Super Junior Celebrates their 9th Anniversary Since Debut, Member Shindong to Enlist in the Army

Super Junior is now 9 years in the industry Super Junior turns nine years old in the K-pop industry and members are quite delighted to celebrate this with theor fans.

Super Junior turns nine years old in the K-pop industry and members are quite delighted to celebrate this with theor fans.

Super Junior made their debut on November 6, 2005 with the song, "Twins (Knock Out)". It was said back then that the members weresupposed to be a project only, making their relased album back then titled, 'Super Junior '05'. The group was suppose to add more members however, fans opposed to this idea and stated the members should remain as it is.

Super Junior had many ups and downs including members taking different paths, however, the remaining 10 members continued on and as years passed by they were known as one of the most popular idol groups around the globe.

Leeteuk, the leader of the group expressed his happiness on his Instagram saying, "..9th anniversary..". He also took to Twitter to write, "Super Junior first saw light in the world on November 6th, 2005... It's already our 9th anniversary.. Now we're 2nd graders in elementary school, and Super Junior and ELF are still young!!! Let's make more time together than the time we already spent...!!! And, not End..."

While Eunhyuk gave his message, also on Instagram saying, "Super Junior... 9 years... The most special meeting in my life. Members, and ELF, let's last a long, long time. I hope it's like that..." He added, "Ah, why am I crying... No matter what we say, we're always thirsty, and we have a lot of things we want to do and accomplish... ELF, let's make it happen together. There are a lot of things that seem hard or impossible, but we've made them happen before. I'm getting drunk. Let's have strength, and I love all of you."

Yesung, who is now enlisted in the military also did not forget to thank fans for their continued support throughout the 9 years.

Meanwhile, like Yesung, Shindong is getting ready to enlist in the army. He has said goodbye previously to his radio show, "Shindong's Shim Shim Ta Pa," to give way to his enlistment. Shindong is set to enter the military on November 25.
