On November 12, Jiyoung, a former member of KARA, has revealed her thoughts in her acting career in Japan as she sat down for an interview for a Japanese media outlet.
Jiyoung has made her acting debut in Japan with the drama, 'Hell Teacher Nube.'
Jiyoung said, "The director is giving me a lot of help. It has become comfortable because now I can read difficult Japanese by myself. I was so happy when I received an offer [to be in] a photo collection. It is something that remains for eternity; hence, I paid a lot of attention to it, so that I could preciously treasure it."
It has been earlier this year when Jiyoung, following her contract expiration from DSP Media, had withdrawn from the girl group KARA. The Korean idol flew to Europe to study further in acting and has made her way in Japan.
Will she be ever returning as a singer/idol in Korea?
Meanwhile, Jiyoung is set to be in a movie titled, 'Assasination Classroom.'
