It seems that K-pop fans have noticed Philippines' Department of Health (DOH) public advetisement campaign jingle and f(x)'s "Rum Pum Pum Pum" comparison, boiling down to the issue of plagiarism. Due to this, SM Entertainment, home of the girl group f(x) has made their move and have called out the attention of the DOH in this act of plagiarism.
On December 8, a representative of the agency told news outlets No Cut News and My Daily, "By no means have we permitted the use of the music, 'Rum Pum Pum Pum.' The original publisher of 'Rum Pum Pum Pum' confirmed that the music used by the Philippines' public service campaign in question is indeed plagiarism, so we already started taking action."
K-pop fans and netizens are alarmed with this since the music has been used for campaign against teenage pregnancy, making it controversial.
