Tao May Have To Sit Out of EXO's Comeback Performances Due to Worsening Foot Injury

Tao has gotten fans worry about him after it was revealed that his foot injury has worsened as EXO began their comeback activities in full-force.

Tao has gotten fans worry about him after it was revealed that his foot injury has worsened as EXO began their comeback activities in full-force.

In July last year, EXO's Tao injured his foot while filming SBS' "Laws of the Jungle". After that, Tao injured his ankle while participating in the Idol Star Athletics Championships. Tao doesn't seem to be having much luck lately because he was transported in a wheelchair and had to sit out of the group's performance of "Growl" during EXO's second solo concert in March this year. With this series of foot-related injuries, fans are concerned about Tao's condition and whether he will be fit enough to go through all of EXO's comeback performances.

At the press conference for EXO, reps reassured fans by saying, "As long as Tao's injuries do not worsen, he will join EXO in all of the group's performances."

Nevertheless fans are concerned for the idol because he might require more time to recover from his successive foot injuries. And with the intricate dance routine for EXO's "Call Me Baby", fans think the performances might be too strenuous for Tao.

Tao's largest Chinese Baidu fanbase, PreciousTaoBar also hinted that Tao's leg injury may have already worsened after the group had their rehearsals for "M! Countdown". With this, there are speculations that Tao may have to withdraw from EXO's future activities to concentrate on his recovery.

To comfort his fans, Tao took to Instagram to post an update, saying, "I will get well soon." On Weibo, Tao also posted, "It really hurts, but I really want to dance. Today's performance has been disappointing to many of you. I will be obedient and will concentrate on my recovery."
