In the middle of her accomplishment with her album "Modern Times," IU is now being intrigued with a plagiarism issue for her track, "The Red Shoes".

Many people who have listened to the song have been commenting is quite similar to Nekta's "Here's Us", which was released in 2009.

Netizens have made a mash-up between the two songs and the phrase "IU The Red Shoes plagiarism?" has been ascending in the search term rank.

But the netizens and listeners have been divided on this issue, stating, "All musical songs sound similar, but the two songs are very similar," "Maybe it's a sample? What is this, I hope someone explains soon," and "It's a common melody in swing jazz. I don't think it's a controversy."

This is not the only time that IU was tagged into plagiarism.

It was in 2011 when IU was intrigued that Dream High OST "Someday" has the same sound as the singer Ash's ' To My Boyfriend' which was release in 2005. The said song was composed by JYP Entertainment's founder, Park Jin Young, who was also included in the drama.

Is plagiarizing already a habit of IU?

Check out the mash-up of the two songs:
