Jin Se Yeon Declines Role in "Scholar Who Walks the Night", Lee Yu Bi In Talks For the Role

It was recently revealed that instead of Jin Se Yeon, Lee Yu Bi will be taking on the lead role of "Scholar Who Walks the Night".

Jin Se Yeon has dropped out from being the prospective female lead in the upcoming MBC drama series "Scholar Who Walks the Night". It was recently revealed that instead of Jin Se Yeon, Lee Yu Bi will be taking on the lead role.

A representative of Jin Se Yeon said, "The actress received an offer to star in MBC's new Wednesday-Thursday drama series 'Scholar Who Walks The Night' but she ultimately decline the role. She has confirmed it well with the production crew of the series."

Lee Yu Bi's also confirmed the new about her new role in "Scholar Who Walks The Night". "Lee Yu Bi recently received an offer to star in the MBC Wednesday-Thursday drama, 'Scholar Who Walks the Night'. She is currently in the final stage of [discussing the offer.]"

Should Lee Yu Bi seal the deal, she will take on the role of the daughter from a noble family empire which has collapsed. She then disguises as a male in order to survive and make some money. She will be teaming up with Lee Jun Ki who will play the vampire scholar.

In the meantime, TVXQ's Changmin, Kim So Eun, and Lee Soo Hyuk has signed up and/or are in the talks to appear in the drama as supporting characters.

"Scholar Who Walks The Night" will premiere in July.
