Kwoon Yool Says His "Let's Eat" Character Is Similar To Him in Real Life

Kwon Yool has become a much-loved staple with his interesting portrayal of his weird character in tvN's second season of "Let's Eat". Kwon Yool's character, Lee Sang-Woo, looks the typical level-headed office guy by day, but by night he transforms into a fun party-goer, showing great synergy between two completely contrasting personalities.

In his interview with CeCi magazine, Kwon Yool posed in a very casual and laidback style. Talking about his character in tvN's "Let's Eat", the actor said, "I picked this [character] so that I can better communicate with the audience. Food is something people encounter every day of their lives."

Kwon Yool said he and his character Lee Sang Woo actually have some similarities in terms of character. "[My character] reminds me of what I intended to achieve when I first decided to become an actor. [Lee Sang Woo] is not one to give up and he always encourages himself never to lose his confidence," Kwon Yool said.
