MBLAQ has begun teasing fans with the release of new photos for their upcoming comeback this June. The now three-man strong band will come out with a new song titled "Mirror". This is the first time MBLAQ promotes with just three members since Lee Joon and Thunder have left the group earlier this year. In a recent interview, former MBLAQ member Lee Joon showed that he still supports the group a hundred percent.
"I wish them well. Even though I haven't hear their new song yet, I'm pretty sure they will perform well," Lee Joon said about his former band.
Earlier this year, Lee Joon left J. Tune Camp to concentrate on his prolific acting career. His latest drama series, "Heard It Through The Grapevine", even snagged the Best Drama award at the recent concluded 51st Baeksang Arts Awards. Needless to say, Lee Joon is earning huge success in his current endeavor.
In previous interview, Lee Joon was quoted as saying he's ruling out singing to focus solely on acting. The actor revealed now that such is not exactly the case, and that his statement was just misinterpreted. "What I meant to say was that 'I wanted to focus on acting for a while, not that I will be quitting singing for good,' I'm not pleased with my acting yet, so I want to focus on that for the moment. Later, if I'm given the chance to sing, I will consider it," he clarified.
Furthermore, Lee Joon reassured fans that although his giving all of his attention to acting as of the moment, he's not completely shutting his doors on the possibility of him releasing new music again.
In the meantime, "Heard It Through The Grapevine" will air its final episode on June 2. MBLAQ's new track will be released on June 9.
