YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun Suk gave fans another update on iKON's debut and WINNER's comeback. With fans becoming more impatient as the long wait gets even longer, Yang Hyun Suk try to pacify fans with this tasty new update.

In an interview with OSEN, Yang Hyun Suk revealed that iKON and WINNER will make a comeback once they come up with a song that will satisfy people's tastes and more than exceed expectations, "As to when WINNER will make their comeback and iKON to make their debut, that's not something for me to decide. We will reveal new music [from the groups] once they come out with songs that people will want to hear. So far, they haven't come up with songs that satisfy me or themselves."

Yang Hyun Suk once again clarified that striving for nothing but excellence is the philosophy he wants to impart to his artists. WINNER's and iKON's activities are not being delayed for no reason; it part of the groups' learning process. "Look at Big Bang's rookie days. Not too long ago, G-Dragon said in an interview that during his trainee days he would write songs for me every day, as if he were to submit a delay assignment. If an artist wants to appear in public and sing songs to an audience they need to be prepared enough before they make their debut. It will be inevitable for one's singing career to be short-lived if one's songs were produced with a half a heart. That's why even up to this day, Big Bang still clocks in longs hours of labor every time they want to release an album," Yang Hyun Suk said about Big Bang's training and how it is the same with YG's newer artists.

Yang Hyun Suk added that both WINNER and iKON are working really hard on their albums. "In the past few months, they've presented me with over 50 songs. I returned all of it back to them since they're still lacking that 2%. They're aware of that as well. By overcoming this training, they will be able to grow and develop. They're sorry for letting fans wait too long but I'm confident that we will be able to make an announcement [about their activities] soon. When WINNER and iKON release their albums, it will all be worth the wait."
